Thanks to I tried out a new colouring technique in Photoshop. It's really fun, and really easy! You duplicate the background pencil layer, erase everything except what you want to be a certain colour, and then adjust the colour balance levels until you get it how you like. Repeat for each component you want to be in colour.

I'm lame and added a photo background I found in Google images... no idea if it's got copyrights, I couldn't find on the page anywhere if it was stock or not. Meh, whatever.

Right, so Zoe belongs to Christiane "HapyCow" Rosin
the original pencil drawing belongs to me
but I did it for Christiane's birthday present. :)
And thanks to Wolfie for the colouring suggestion :dance:

i was about to comment on your love of brick or stone walls for backgrounds, but i wont O:-). awesomeness. hey, that's a good idea about the photoshop coloring .... i never color my pictures (i hate colored pencil, as you know, and otherwise photoshop can be annoying), but i'll try it!

Uhh... the brick background just seemed right...? :shrug: You're good with coloured things though, like paint... whereas when I try to do something in colour (paint, pencil crayons, what have you) I look at the finished product and go "...well.... we're still learning....." :D
